Nick’s talks are as follows:

What matters to our clients? Spoiler: it's not what we think!

10th March 2025. 15:00-15:20 on The Fundamentals Stage

Session Description: If we list all the things we strive for in our photography, then list all the things our clients find important we will see a very shocking thing...there is VERY little overlap! In this session, Nick will explain what our clients DO care about, because these are the things we should be paying attention to.

Photography business myth-buster!

11th March 2025, 11:00-11:20 on The Fundamentals Stage

Session Description: 'NEVER send your raw files'. 'You won't earn good money from photography'. 'Image noise is bad!' We've all heard these bits of advice, and they all have one thing in common; they're total nonsense! It's not clear who starts these soundbites but they get repeated so often they become 'received wisdom', and many photographers make decisions based on them - even deciding not to start a business. In this session, Nick will bust these (and many more) myths which will open the door to a new way of thinking about your current or prospective photography business.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of The Photography & Video Show again and I hope to see you there!

This year, based on my work as a photography educator, my sessions are based on key areas that affect photographers who are taking the into the business of photography.

As usual, it will be my trademark mix of relevance and irreverence!!
