Kris Kirkham works with a wide range of brands and products, from practical food packaging to magazine and advertising photos for major brands such as Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, Subway, Glen Fiddich and many more.
Kris’s work is often vibrant, punchy and full of life and energy while some is more subtle and delicately lit, all perfectly suiting the brands and companies he is working with.
We chat about his work with these major companies, how he moved from being a professional chef to taking photos of food and how he works in a larger design team to create the shots he is known for. Fascinating stuff!
We also discuss the thorny issue of licensing music for your films, and the move of at least one professional supplier of photography albums who are moving to a model where consumers can themselves get albums.

Nick Church
Nick is a wedding and commercial photography, filmmaker and educator based in Bristol, UK. Following a career in the Software Industry, Nick saw the light (literally) and made photography centre stage in 2018. Most recently Nick has become a regular speaker at The Photography & Video Show in the UK and is delighted to be part of The Photography Pod.

Outside photography, Nick and his partner Dawn have four boys and his other passions writing and performing music, cycling and motorcycling.
Steve Vaughan
Steve is a wedding photographer based in Oxfordshire and together with his partner in crime, Sam, they run Sam and Steve Photography. Steve was awarded Wedding Photographer of the Year by FujiFilm, Photography News and Loxley.

Steve and Sam have 5 children between them, and Steve somehow manages to also have a busy role in training and sales within the pharmaceutical industry. Deciding they need yet more drama in their lives, Sam and Steve also both perform on stage.
